House Rules

Here shall I compile the MTG house rules for my house. Suggestions and discussion of your own house rules are encouraged.

You shall not play a deck specifically designed to hose another person's deck. For example, if you know that someone plays green, you can not build an anti-green deck just to be a jerk to that person. However, it is fine to play a deck with such hate cards if it was designed for use against any deck. For example, running a combo COP:black with darkest hour.

Any card of the appropriate type outside of the game that you own can be fetched with Ring of Ma'ruf and the wishes, not just cards that have been exiled.

The Vintage restricted/banned list shall be used with the following changes:

I though current ruling on Ring of Ma'ruf was that it could not fetch and exiled card. Do house rules allow a fifth lightning bolt to be fetched?

Did you remove island from the restricted list?

House rules: You may fetch a fifth lightning bolt.

I did remove island from the restricted list. It is now on the banned list.
