apocryphal spaghetti sauce

there is a gravy thickening paste on the market called "ahh bistro" which is mostly cornstarch and beef boullion mix. I tossed half a can in some of my spaghetti sauce mostly to see the outcome. End result? Thick and in my opinion tasty spaghetti. This would have been an un-necessary step for most tomato based sauces, but I had accidently watered down my sauce to a point I felt was unacceptable. Whether or not the product had a real effect or not could definatly be debated, but on the whole it was a postive experience.
